Recently retired after twenty hears in the medical search industry, Mark Acres has had a lifelong interest in fantasy, science fiction, adventure fiction, military history, and games of all types. Prior to his career in the search industry, Mark was a journalist, a lay Quaker pastor, a radio rock-n-roll DJ, a junior college instructor in history, philosophy, English and the social sciences, and a role playing and board game designer for both TSR and Pacesetter. Mark lives in Bloomington, Indiana with his wife and high school sweetheart, Jamie, very near to three of their four adult children and all of their nine grandchildren. Mark graduated from Cornell University in 1972 with a degree in Philosophy, and attended graduated school at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University in Bloomington.
