The American Civil War Magazine & Journal Index has been updated again today. I added the entire run of 6+ volumes of Civil War Regiments: A Journal of the American Civil War, except for summaries. I hope to add the summaries for most of these issues as I find time to read the ones I just purchased tonight and volunteers for the ones I do not own (almost every one that is sold out). Special thanks goes out to Ted Savas of Savas Beatie LLC. Ted gave me the green light not only to transcribe the information from each Table of Contents, but he also pointed me to the Civil War Regiments site, which he graciously allowed me to copy for the project. As a result, I was able to place every Civil War Regiments issue online in a single night. Thanks again Ted. I really appreciate it!!!
Again, I am definitely looking for volunteers to help transcribe the table of contents page for each issue of each magazine. I want to thank Tom Tompkins of East Lansing, Michigan, for volunteering to help on this project. Tom is a soon-to-be retired High School History teacher. Any transcribing not done by me will be duly noted at the top of each issue page, and I hope to create a volunteer page which lists each transcriber and their efforts.
