Here is another essay style book from Savas Publishing, this time focusing on the war in Kentucky. I really enjoyed this one. Among the battles discussed are Mill Springs, Kentucky's first, Richmond, Munfordville, and of course Perryville. Kenneth Noe writes the article on Perryville, and it is similar in style but much shorter than his book on Perryville below. Wiley Sword writes an article on Patrick Cleburne and his role in the campaign. Many other excellent articles round out the book. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in the Civil War battles which were fought in Kentucky.
