Yes, this is the same man who wrote the book earlier in this section about Joe Johnston and his handling of the Campaign until his wounding on May 31, 1862. As you may have guessed, this one covers Johnston's last battle with the AoNV: Seven Pines. As I've stated before, Newton doesn't like James Longstreet very much for some reason. The maps have a weird computer graphic look similar to what is found in the Williamsburg book in this section. Still, this is the only modern book-length account of the battle and as such would make a valuable addition to your Civil War library. 147 pp., 8 maps
