This is one of the books in Gary Gallagher's "Military Campaigns of the Civil War" series. It has 9 essays on varying subjects all having to do with the Peninsula Campaign. My favorite essay is by R.E.L. Krick on Whiting's Division's decisive charge at the Battle of Gaines' Mill, but the rest are definitely enjoyable as well. 296 pp., 10 maps
