Civil War Bull Run Toolbar Mod V3.1 Updated for Civil War Bull Run Version 1.1 Features: Increased buttons from 15 to 24 Red Buttons when playing rebs. Optional Grey buttons also included. Standarized button locations on the toolbars FOW Effects - reduced info about enemy units and friendly units not under your command. This was optional in V2 of this mod, but the installation was unwieldy and the maintainance of multiple verisions of files was a pain. New Commands: Brigade Double Quick Brigade Halt(Reform) - This doesn't halt the regiments in their tracks, but causes them to reform on the leader's current location. It's pretty much the same as hitting a formation button, so it may end up getting removed as redundant. Added detach/attach commands to guns Added fatigue bar to artillery - credit to Wolfe for the idea Added Battery level targeting commands Added Take Command to wagons - now you can make them stay where your put them! Added column formation to cavalry and batteries Filled out toolbars for Army, Infantry Corps, Cavalry Divisions and Corps. The game does not currently support Army->Corps commands by the player, so Army level is not playable. The stock OOB's 'Armies" are actually Corps. In a custom OOB with mutliple Corps, the corps level is playable and the AI-controlled Army commander will send you orders. Added Formations for Corps and Cavalry Divisions. Note that Corps formations are very large. The stock OOB have only one Corps per army and using these formations will effect your ENTIRE ARMY. Use with care. Also included is my Sounds Mod. See the enclosed Sound Mod Readme.txt for info. Installation: No graphics files are overwritten (with the exception of Compass.tga). CSV files will be overwritten, so be sure to back them up first. This mod will not affect the stock scenarios (again, with the exception of the compass). Copy the tga files to Graphics\ToolBar folder. Rename the SmButtons_Reb_Grey.tga to SmButtons_Reb.tga if you'd prefer to use Grey Buttons instead of red. Copy the csv files to the Data Files folder Compatibility with other mods: The most likely contention will be unitcommon.csv. I changed values in the "enemy toolbar" column to E_Officer & E_Reb_Officer for the officers. You can make these same changes to a custom unitcommon.csv file to make it compatible with the new toolbars. Any mods that change toolbars.csv or tooltext.csv can probably not be made compatable with this mod easily. Troubleshooting: If the game crashes, look in CWBR.log in the Civil War Bull Run folder for an error message. The last entry will probably tell which item is the problem. Ask for help on the modders forum or send me an email. My email address is at the bottom of this readme. Note: The new toolbar will only be available in Open Play and custom scenarios. If you copy the scenarios from the SDK on the game cd to the Scenarios folder, then you can play them (as custom scenarios) using the new toolbar providing toolbar.cvs and tooltext.cvs do not exist in the scenario\Data Files folder. Files in the scenario folders will override files in the Data Files folder. New commands I added to the toolbars, such as 'advance' on the cavalry toolbar, may have some quirky behavior (which might be why MMG didn't include them). So if you have problems with them, don't blame MMG. Bug reports, comments, and suggestions are welcome either in the game forums(www.madminutegames.com) or email Mike Peyrot mdpeyrot@charter.net
