Wilson's Creek OOB for TC2M (v1.1) by jackfox ---------------- UPDATE: v1.1 fixes courier OOB error. ---------------- The Battle of Wilson's Creek (called Oak Hills by the Confederates) was fought ten miles southwest of Springfield, Missouri on August 10, 1861. Named for the stream that crosses the area where the battle took place, it was a bitter struggle between Union and Confederate forces for control of Missouri in the first year of the Civil War. ---------------- This OOB has its origins in the OOB from Talonsoft's Battleground: Shiloh, which included the battle of Wilson's Creek. I have modified the troops strengths and unit names to more accurately reflect the historical record. NOTE: The chain of command has been modified to fit the requirements of TC2M. - John C. Fremont, not present in the actual battle, has been inserted as a corps commander. This allows the Army of the West to face both Confederate divisions in open play. - James Rains, commander of the 2nd Divison of the Missouri State Guard, has been omitted to allow his troops to fit within the command structure.
