This is just great! I have been antisipating or hoping that some one would gather all the latests Mods and put them in a central place. I appreciate this website very much in deed. All the different ACW sights in one place as well. Life is good.

    Richard,

I’m glad you like it. Hopefully this makes things easier on a lot of ACW computer wargamers.

Hello, I am a big fan of your game. The only problem I have is that I am trying to download The 3.0 Patch but When I install it it still says on the game V 2.53, I know I am installing it in the right folder where the game is, how do I get it to work?

    MKJ,

I am not affilaited with Mad Minute Games other than as an uncompensated playtester. All game questions should be asked at Mad Minute Games’ forums.

    Hey Brett,

Just wanted to let you know that I’ve linked to your web site for the MMG game patches. The MMG web site isn’t maintained much any more and the patch links were broken. Glad to see you still have them here. Cheers!

      chonaman,

I have no intention of taking any of my wargame patches and downloads down ever as long as even one person is interested in them. Thanks for linking!

It’s good to know that you have no immediate plans to take down these files. I know that Norb is concerned about patch availability on the MMG site due to potential piracy issues affecting some earlier versions of the game. With this in mind, he has recently begun offering a fully patched version of the game at the very reasonable price of $9.99. If I had to, I would pay that in a heartbeat to fix my game – but everything is still running like clockwork after almost 6 years of continuous play.

There are definitely new players still joining the TC2M community, and there is no way to tell where they purchased the game (if they did purchase it). Reportedly, Norb now has all sales rights for the game, although I noted only yesterday that Amazon still shows the game for sale (at a much higher price).

TC2M was ranked by PC Gamer Magazine as #78 on the All-Time list as of March 2012. That could boost sales a bit, and I hope it does. The game was developed in the early 2000’s, so it is not about visual perfection in 3D. It’s about history, game-play, interesting and historical timelines, and those great characters who fought the war.

IIRC – this was a problem with all versions of Windows – even XP. There was an edit fix for it in TC2M.ini at the time. I’m currently running it in 2560×1440 res
