      Bill,

Not yet. I think RHP is going to send me a completed version of all parts, and I’ll host my own pages for those “lost” parts.

    Thanks-

I believe I copied all but these two from the History site, however I’ll be lookingforward to your pages. Bill

Have you been able to “Host” the lost sections (parts 26 and 31 in particular)of the Red River Campaign yet. If so how do I access them?
    Thanks, Bill

      Bill,

I haven’t. I am having the same trouble as you: finding them in the first place to add them to the links in the series. I’ll ask rhp to email them to me.

    Bill,

I hope you’re subscribed to the comments section. This is just an update that I was able to get parts 26 and 31 from rhp6033 in Word doc format and they are now available above.

Really appreciate your efforts to complete this series. It is the best report on the “Red River Campaigns” I’ve run across and I wanted to have the full set.

GGGrandfather died of wounds received during Poison Springs Battle, was with the 30th Texas Cavalry.

Again thanks for the effort to complete the set.

    Bill,

You’re welcome! I was happy to help. There definitely needs to be a better book written on the Red River Campaign which includes many detailed maps of the battles and the campaign as a whole.

I just sent some .pdf versions of the two missing files, perhaps those would be better to use here. I also corrected the error in the footer for # 31.

By the way, I once did a series on the Chattanooga campaign on the THC site. I’ve been thinking about resurrecting and improving upon that one in time for the anniversary of those battles.

    rhp6033,

I’d love to see a Chickamauga series. By all means go ahead!
