150th Civil War Anniversary Infantry Symposium at the National Infantry Foundation

TOCWOC reader and former contributor Matthew Young passed along word that the National Infantry Foundation in Columbus, GA is hosting a 150th Sesquicentennial Civil War Infantry Symposium on April 11, 2009 from 9 am to 5 pm (click for signup form) at the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center.

The Symposium features presentations by the following:

  • Dr. Donald Stoker: Author of The Grand Design: Strategy and the U.S. Civil War
  • Mr. Dave Dameron: Noted biographer of General Henry Benning
  • Mr. Richard Barlow Adams: Author of The Parting: A Story of West Point on the Eve of the Civil War
  • Mr. Dave Stieghan: Command Historian, US Army Infantry
  • Mr. Jeff Reed: Arms Curator, National Infantry Museum

The final day to register is April 2 and seating is limited, so get your registration forms in early!
