Thanks for bringing this book to my attention. What an interesting history Wells had - captured by Mosby's men, part of the Dahlgren raid, Sheridan, and a Medal of Honor in Farnsworth Raid. Who knew?
I'm from Gettysburg and will make it a point to check out his monument as well. Thanks again!
