The Golden Age of Battlefield Preservation by Timothy Smith

Timothy B. Smith, the author of The Golden Age of Battlefield Preservation: The Decade of the 1890s and the Establishment of America’s First Five Military Parks, will appear on Saturday, August 23rd from 12-1 pm Central at VirtualBookSigning.net.  Hat tip to historicus at The History Channel Civil War boards.  Looking a little further down the schedule, I also noticed Peter Cozzens and Andy Trudeau will be appearing on September 13 to discuss Shenandoah 1862 and Southern Storm, respectively.

For those of you who don’t know, VirtualBookSigning.net is sponsored by Abraham Lincoln Book Shop, Inc. and allows readers to “attend” a book signing online.  You listen to the author speak while he signs your book in real time.

Unfortunately for me I just picked up my copy of The Golden Age of Battlefield Preservation several weeks ago, so I won’t be getting mine signed.
