Quick Note

The St. Louis area was hit by a terrific thunderstorm the other day, resulting in the loss of power to over 400,000 people. Some may be without power for up to four more days. Since I live east of the affected area, I was not impacted…until now. My area was hit with a severe storm involving several tornadoes today, and I’ve been told that my home is without power. The power company has already called in reinforcements from across the area and even the entire state of Missouri to get St. Louis back online, so the waiting time for a rural community like mine could literally be days. If you don’t see any new posts or if you are expecting an email from me, I may be without internet access until I get back to work on Monday morning (which is where I’m typing this message from).
