		<description>Eric, I talked with you a week or so ago about LT James S (actually it&#039;s T) Dunlap with the 44th Missouri Reg.  You were going to see if you find any more information about him. I did find a few records on him. He did infact die at The battle of Franklin, BUT it was 11 days later. Also he fought in the Mexican war from 1846-48 as a private and at the battle of Shiloh as a captain where he was taken captive for 7 months then returned to Mo and discharged for a disability. I down loaded his service record and his middle initial could be confused with an S
