The Wicker Man

This is one pretty cool little movie. Christopher Lee of Hammer Horror fame plays a prominent role in this classic British horror film. Edward Woodward stars as Sergeant Howie, a deeply religious Christian who also happens to be a Scottish Policeman. He gets a note from one of Scotland's outlying small islands explaining that a little girl has been missing for many months. He flies out to the island to investigate, and things get stranger and stranger. The movie is a musical of sorts with some singing and dancing, and I've heard some people even claim that this is not horror at all. I disagree, and I think this one is well worth buying. I especially recommend the "Wooden Box" limited edition which I have provided a link for above. It is a little longer than the theatrical release, and one of my buddies who has watched both says that the extended version makes more sense.
