As you can tell by my 10/10 rating above, I was one of those people who loved The Blair Witch Project. I thought it was an influential film in the Horror Genre, and Horror needed a good kick in the ass anyway after the dismal crap put out through most of the 1990's. You are probably either going to absolutely love this or hate it. There hardly seems to be anyone on middle ground. If you can't play first-person shooters because of disorientation and nausea, you probably will not like this movie, or you won't know if you like it because you'll be throwing up in the bathroom! With that said, I think the idea for the movie is awesome; let the actors videotape themselves and present their footage as a faux-documentary of their last days on earth. I don't want to say too much about the way the movie goes because I think it is better if you go in not knowing what to expect. I would say rent this or borrow it from someone before you buy. But if you like it, I'm pretty sure you'll love it.
