This is director Roman Polanski's classic horror film from 1968. As with all Polanski movies, this one is rather slow in developing. But for this particular plot, that works perfectly. I watched with growing unease as Rosemary began to believe her neighbors were hiding dark secrets. Rosemary (Mia Farrow) moves into a new apartment in New York City with her husband Guy (John Cassavetes). At first the young couple live happily, but it doesn't take long for Rosemary to get pregnant and that's when weird things start to occur. Rosemary believes that her neighbors in the apartment building mean to harm her baby, and she grows even more paranoid when Guy refuses to believe her. This was a great movie, and I believe this is an essential DVD to view if you are a fan of the horror genre.
