Comments:

I really wanted to love this movie. It had come on the recommendation of several friends, and it stars Tim Robbins. While Tim isn't exactly a patriotic American, he is one of my favorite actors. His work in The Shawshank Redemption and Bull Durham is awesome. And he doesn't disappoint here either. Jacob Singer (Robbins) is fighting in Vietnam when he gets bayoneted by a shadowy figure. After this, we have a fade to black and then we fast-forward to New York City, where Singer has fallen asleep on the subway. After this, Singer has more and more strange visions, and pretty soon you can't tell what is real and what isn't. The ending was cool, and the overall idea was really cool, but I didn't like this as much as I thought I would. It's just too weird. Not for everyone, but I think a lot of people will really like this movie.
