Dementia 13 was famous director Francis Ford Coppola's first film. That's about all that makes this film worth watching. I hated this movie. The plot involves Louise Haloran (Anders) pretending that her husband is still alive (he had just died of a heart attack) so that she can eventually inherit the Haloran family fortune. She goes to the Haloran Castle to meet the family. In the end, it turns out at least one, if not all, of them are a little cuckoo. And they like to play with axes... You might want to get this as a student of film history, but other than that don't waste your time. I got mine on a cheap double feature disc which also featured Night of the Living Dead. I have since picked up the Millennium edition of NOTLD.
